The issue, no. 4, 2011, which has been edited by Associate Professor Liselotte Odgaard and Colonel Jens H. Garly, demonstrates that the close interplay between students, staff and external institutions and partners on strategic studies increases the level at which strategy is taught and written about at the college.
The special issue on strategy contains the following contributions:
- Jens Garly and Liselotte Odgaard, ”Strategic Studies at the Royal Danish Defence College”
- Robert H. Dorff, “Understanding and Teaching Strategy at the U.S. Army War College”
- Peter H. Sølling, “Militærstrategi er ikke bare militærstrategi?” [Military strategy is not just military strategy?]
- Thomas Elkjer Nissen og Steen Kjærgaard, ”Strategisk kommunikations rolle i strategier og strategiformulering” [The role of strategic communication in strategies and strategy formulation]
